Short Stories
In this course students are exposed to several classic stories that will acquaint them with significant literary works and authors. Each classic story will be juxtaposed by a modern, minimalistic story written by Raymond Carver. Carver is considered by many to be the father of Modern American Short Stories. His work is considered brutal and honest.
